Traffic Tickets Are Not Being Dismissed Due to Delays in LA Court Processing Tickets

Traffic Tickets Are Not Being Dismissed Due to Delays in LA Court Processing Tickets- blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

While courts are downsizing and some even being closed down, the case load continues to grow.

Presiding Judge Edmon of the Los Angeles Superior Court reported in the courts 2011 annual report that “workload has been steadily increasing, particularly in the recession”.

On major impact of the court layoffs has been the lack of live operators to assist individuals with questions about their traffic tickets over the phone. In the past live operators were available to answer approximately 2,000 calls daily in the Traffic Call Center however that is a thing of the past. Now individuals are told they must come into the courthouse if their questions cannot be answered by the automated traffic call line. This is of particular concern for those who live far away from the court and inconvenient even for those who live near the court due to be faced with long lines at the traffic windows in many of the courts.

Despite court staff reductions and significant delays in processing traffic tickets, Los Angeles court has reported they will not be turning away work or dismissing cases due to this. –  blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
