What to Do to Prepare for Your Traffic Ticket Trial

What to Do to Prepare for Your Traffic Ticket Trial- blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.

In preparing for your day in court, you should read the California Vehicle Code (many sites make this available to view online) to understand the charges against you. The code section you are being charged with violating is found in the middle portion of your ticket.

In addition you should, gather your witnesses. If you had a passenger or someone following behind you at the time you got the ticket ask them for a statement of what they saw and make sure you agree with their version of what happened before asking them to testify as a witness in your case.

So that you don’t forget once you are in court, you should write down any questions you want to ask the officer ahead of time.

If you do not speak English very well, you can ask the court for an interpreter (generally free of charge) to help you.

If you do not feel comfortable appearing in court, then a Trial by Written Declaration may be a better choice for you as it does not require you to go to court.  –  blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
