Ticketed in a Construction Zone? Why Pay More When You Don’t Have to

Ticketed in a Construction Zone? Why Pay More When You Don’t Have to blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.  “Traffic Fines Double in Construction Zone.”

We see these signs often. But does it mean you will automatically pay more if you get a ticket? Not necessarily. Under California law, the “construction zone fine,” only applies during hours when work is actually being performed. To avoid paying more (when not required), take photos of the area showing there are no “men at work.” You’ll want to use a camera with a date/time stamp feature, and for the date/time to be very close to that which is listed on your ticket.

Tip: ·       Many digital camera and smartphone cameras do not have a date/time stamp feature, so after transferring your photos to a PC, open the image file, right click, and then select properties, where you can find record of the date and time the photo was taken.·       Alternatively, there are Apps available for your smartphone that will record the date, time, and even the location (e.g. iPhoto or Timestamp Camera).  blog submitted by ticketbust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets.
