Is motorcycle lane splitting legal and is it safe?

Is motorcycle lane splitting legal and is it safe?blog submitted by TicketBust.com, helping drivers contest and dismiss their traffic tickets. Lane splitting is the practice of a motorcycle driving between two rows of stopped or moving cars in the same lane. No law in California specifically authorizes lane splitting and none prohibits it. According to research done by UC Berkeley in 2015, it can be done safely if the motorcycle is driven at a speed of no more than 50 mph and not more than 15 mph faster than surrounding traffic.  Although there are currently no official safety guidelines in place, a new bill seeks to authorize the California Highway Patrol to develop these. –  blog submitted by TicketBust.com, helping drivers fight their traffic tickets.
